My name is Ayrika Zitzmann, and it is my first year teaching! Here is a little information about me.Â
I grew up in Bird Island, MN and graduated from BOLD High School in 2016. From there I went to Minnesota State University Moorhead and received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Inclusive Education and an Academic Behavioral Strategist License. I now live in Willmar with my significant other, Derek, and my dog, Bronk.
I love to cook and bake! I also like to listen to audio books whenever I can. I like to be out in nature and exploring as well.

Just some things I want you to know
I know that this year is going to be so different, but we are going to rock it!! I value my students and their families and I strive to make meaningful connections with each and every one of them. I like to have flexible seating in my classroom so that students can decide what is best for them to learn. I am a big advocate for hands-on learning, and I try to incorporate this in every one of my lessons. I have many ideas in my head, and I hope that we can figure out how you/your child learns the best!
